Skills Bootcamps are here for people who want to improve their current skills in their current job, explore new employment opportunities or re-enter the workforce.

Why should you consider a Skills Bootcamp?

Once you complete the course, you’ll be guaranteed a job interview. If you’re self-employed, you’ll be able to use the training to seek new opportunities for your business. If you’re being supported by your current employer to complete the Skills Bootcamp, then you’ll be offered a new role or new responsibilities.

Who are Skills Bootcamps for?

  • Adults aged 19 or over as of the 31st of August 2023.
  • Learners who are in work and have their employer's support or who are self-employed and looking to grow their business.
  • Learners who are recently unemployed or returning to work after a break and are looking to get started with an entry-level job in a new sector.
  • Learners who are looking to build upon a Skills Bootcamp by completing an apprenticeship in their chosen topic.
  • Applicants who have lived in England for at least the last 3 consecutive years, and have the right to work in the United Kingdom (there are exceptions for Ukraine or Afghanistan nationals).
  • Learners who are not currently undertaking any formal education, including another Skills Bootcamp.
  • Learners who have reliable internet connection, a laptop or computer with a camera and microphone and access to Microsoft Office.
  • Learners who are employed and want to change or switch careers.

Employers:

Leadership & Management Training

This category is focused on courses aimed at equipping individuals with the necessary skills to initiate or advance their careers in leadership and management across any industry or sector.

Sales, Marketing & Procurement Training

This category focuses on courses designed to equip individuals with the skills necessary to begin or advance careers in the Sales, Marketing, and Procurement sectors, including Finance. It explicitly excludes Digital Marketing training.

Creative Industries

This is designated for courses aimed at equipping individuals with the skills necessary to either begin or advance their careers in the Creative Industries.

Professional Services

This focuses on courses designed to equip individuals with the skills needed for starting or advancing careers in the Professional Services sector, including Finance. It encompasses Project Management Training courses as well.

Applying to one of our Skills Bootcamps does not guarantee you a place on our course, as you must meet the eligibility criteria and speak to one of our advisors to ensure you are aware of the course commitments. 

Please note that we work on a first come, first served basis so, although we will try our best to honour your preferred start date, this may not always be possible.
